Starting off from where Akshay Kumar`s character was introduced in Simmba, Sooryavanshi traces the acts and serious antics of DCP Veer Sooryavanshi, the chief of the Anti-Terrorism Squad in India.

Story

Sooryavanshi is a Bollywood action thriller film, directed by Rohit Shetty. Akshay Kumar is seen in the role of ATS officer in the film. Apart from this, Jackie Shroff is in the role of Villain Lashkar in this film, while Katrina Kaif has appeared opposite Akshay.

The story of this film is based on the terrorist attack on Mumbai. An attack plan is being planned by the Lashkars on Mumbai, the responsibility of stopping it, a warrior of the Mumbai Anti-Terrorism Scott named Veer Suryavanshi. Suryavanshi, Simmba and Singham put all their might to stop the attack on Mumbai. A big fight of these three officers is against the terrorist organization which is about to attack the city of Mumbai.

From the 1993 blasts to the 26/11 Taj attack; Ajay Devgan's powerful voice reminds us of the Mumbai attacks. It is also said that the biggest attack in the city is yet to happen. Terrorists had come to India with one ton of RDX during the 1993 blasts. Out of which 400 kg was used in the serial blast at that time, while 600 kg RDX was kept hidden in India itself. Now some sleeper cells of Lashkar have become active again. This time DCP Veer Suryavanshi comes to save the city from the biggest attack of Lashkar.

Devoted to the country and best in his work. Sitting in the neighboring country, Lashkar chief Umar Hafeez (Jackie Shroff) sends his special men to India to carry out the attack.
